The party deposit secures your booking and is non-refundable. The party date can be moved if more than 2 weeks’ notice is given before the party date. An administration fee of £30 is chargeable. General Party Information & Procedures

1. 3 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PARTY STARTS PLEASE CALL 020 8359 9925 or email admin@topsyturvyworld.com with the following information (please leave a message on the answer machine if necessary giving the date / time and birthday child’s name - and we will update the information on the system:

• Your final party numbers. (We appreciate that these numbers may change again slightly – we need to know so that we can set the table. N.B you will only be charged for those children that come on the day over and above the minimum number already paid)
• Menu choice for the children (you can choose up to 2 menus for all children)
• Order for any adult party platters required.
• Final Payment

2. If you have more than the minimum number of children, the balance payment (including any additional orders, such as adult platters) :-

• must be made within the first 30 minutes of the start of your party.
• must be made by way of debit card; credit card or cash
• An admin fee of £30 will be added to any final balance should payment not be received on the day, for whatever reason, or in the instance of a final balance cheque not being honoured.

3. Responsibilities

Party Parent responsibilities

• The party parent must not arrive any earlier than 5-10 minutes prior to the party start time
• The party parent and adult guests are responsible for all party children at all times
• The party parent should explain the rules of play to the children (see enclosed rules)
• The party parent should ensure that all children are dressed appropriately (as per centre rules – i.e. long trousers; socks; long sleeved shirts)
• The party parent should ensure that all children wash their hands prior to eating (there is antibacterial gel to use, but please be aware that this does not kill all germs).
• No spray foam; poppers; or streamers permitted. (Customers will be charged an additional sum for cleaning if this is disregarded). N.B. Poppers can be dangerous and MUST NOT be brought into our premises under any circumstance.
• The party parent will provide the birthday cake and candles (only normal candles permitted).
• The party parent will take responsibility for lighting the candles (ordinary ones only, please); for cutting the cake and putting the cake into the party bags.
• The party parent must ensure that all party children are collected by their parent or guardian
• The party parent must ensure that the party room is vacated with all belongings at the end of the allocated party time.
• The party parent must ensure that all guests leave the building at the end of the allocated party time. If party parents / guests & children do not leave the building at this time, topsy turvy world reserve the right to charge for every additional 15 minutes spent on the premises. The total amount will depend on the number of party guests. This amount must be settled prior to departure.
• Adults must NOT sit on of the tables or children’s chairs a) for health and safety reasons and b) as they may break.

Party Host Responsibilities

• The Party Host will provide a coloured arm band for each child. If all guests have not arrived within 15 minutes of the start, this responsibility will be given to the party parent.
• The Party Host will serve food to the children in the party room.
• Please note that the role of the Party Host is NOT to entertain the children.
• N.B. although the PartyHost will try to provide a good level of service to both party parents and children, their main responsibility is to the party children.

4. Party Rooms

• No decorations are permitted on the walls of the party room as this causes damage. Topsy turvy world will claim for any damages should this be disregarded.
• No spray foam; poppers; or streamers. (Customers will be charged an additional sum for cleaning if this is disregarded). N.B. Poppers can be dangerous and MUST NOT be brought into our premises under any circumstance.
• Management reserve the right to change the party room allocated at the time of booking without any prior notice.

5. Health & Safety Matters

• A maximum of 5 parents are permitted in a party room at anytime – this is not only for health & safety reasons, but also to ensure that the Party Host is able to carry out his/her duties successfully.
• There is antibacterial hand gel in each of the party rooms for the children’s use.
• Only normal birthday cake candles can be used.
• For children under the age of 3 years old, there should be no fewer than one party parent/guardian (over 18 years) for every two children.
• For children under the age of 8 years old, there should be no fewer than two party parents/guardians (over 18 years) for every 8 children.
• For children over the age of 8 years old, there should be no fewer than one party parent/ guardian (over 18 years) for every 8 children.
• Centre Rules apply at all times

6. Other Information

• The party package includes free entry for up to 10 adults. The party parent will be charged £1 for each additional adult.
• The deposit you have paid is non-refundable . A party can be rescheduled (at the discretion of the General Manager and under special circumstances) if more than 2 weeks notice is given prior to the date of the party and an admin fee of £30 will be chargeable. After this time, the party can only be rescheduled if TTW manage to fill the booking. TTW will do everything they can in order to secure another booking.
• No food can be brought into the centre by the party parent or friends. For self catered parties food must be kept in the party room.

7. Feedback / Complaints

• We would be grateful if you could fill in a party questionnaire at the end of your party with your comments. We may also call you to confirm the feedback you have given.
• If you have any problems during your party it is important that you speak to the Duty Manager immediately so the issue can be resolved swiftly.
